Swim Kidz are proud to sponsor the team kit for FC Holyport, a youth development football club based near Maidenhead.

FC Holyport Treasurer, Nick Ahluwalia, gave the following statement:

FC Holyport are a local youth development football club located in a leafy village on the borders of Windsor and Maidenhead. The club are relatively new in comparison to other youth clubs with the new committee sworn in for the 2013/14 season. The club then comprised of 6 teams and a committee made up of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, CWO, Treasurer and a Managers Rep. For the 4th season running, we have been credited with the FA Charter Standard accreditation which is only given to clubs that follow the FA guidelines on youth football. We are currently a club with 12 FA Level1/2 registered coaches, a further 14 FA CRC accredited assistants with 2 coaches currently on their courses for the following season. We pride ourselves in ensuring our teams adhere to the FA code of conduct for players and spectators and deal with any deviation very seriously. Our coaches and committee members are the pivotal cogs within the club with many giving up additional time to assist other teams, coaching, camp participation and going to the many meetings throughout the season to learn and improve the clubs progression.

Of a period of 4 seasons the club has seen exponential growth with the new season (18/19) seeing 14 playing teams and an U6 Development team. These age groups will range from U8s to U16s with over 200 registered members within the club. What does the club see as the reason for this ? Excellent relationships being built within the community has to play a key factor in this growth with free training camps during summer holidays, affiliations with major footballing organisations which develop mini and junior skills and our own ethos of reinvesting money back into the players, amongst others. This season has seen a major turn in results and performances through out the club with promotions, league champions and tournament winners through out the age group. This season also saw our first ever girls only team at the U11 age group, which has proved very popular within the community.

We have been fortunate, but with hard work from all, to have gained kit sponsorships for all of our teams within the local community, with SwimKidz being one of those. Without this sponsorship we would have to divert club funds to purchase kit for the players which would ordinarily be used for equipment, courses and operational costs. So a big thank you to SwimKidz and supporting organisations.
