After spending 26 years working in a challenging and varied career as a Civil Servant, my life changed massively when our beautiful daughter Faith was born. Spending time at home being a new mum quickly made me realise how much I loved being a Mummy and wanted a change in career that allowed me to spend time with my family.

As a child, I had an issue with water confidence and did not like putting my face in the water. I was keen for Faith not to have these same issues and wanted her to be confident and happy in water, whilst at the same time learn water safety skills. It was then that I discovered Swimkidz so booked Faith into their classes in Cardiff with Tasha. Having never seen any baby swimming lessons before, I was not sure what to expect, but both Faith and I loved it from the second we started and I saw a noticeable improvement every week. It amazes me how happy & confident she is in the water and at only 7 months old how quickly she has picked up life- saving skills.

Our circumstances changed and we moved to Bristol, but still travelled back over the bridge weekly to Swimkidz Wales for classes as I was very impressed with Swimkidz as a whole and I couldn’t find anything comparable in the Bristol area. Growing up I wanted to be a teacher and work with young children, but took a different career path. It was this & the positives Faith and I had experienced that inspired me to bring Swimkidz to Bristol. I have now sucessfully completed my full industry swimming training along with the STA baby and pre school course and Swimkidz very comprehensive in-house training. I am really excited to be part of the Swimkidz team & develop Swimkidz Bristol. I am truly passionate about what I do and look forward to helping other mummies and daddies share the positive experiences I have with Swimkidz.
